Steroid Receptor Biology laboratory, MIMR-PHI Institute (Formerly Prince Henry’s Institute)
Simon Chu is the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation L’Oreal Paris Research Fellow at the newly merged MIMR-PHI Institute. He completed his PhD in 2005 in the Steroid Receptor biology laboratory at Prince Henry’s Institute with Professor Peter Fuller. His research focus is on understanding the molecular pathogenesis of granulosa cell tumours (GCT) through analysis of the NF-kB and AP1 signalling pathways, nuclear receptors and a whole-genome search for genes involved in the pathogenesis of GCT. His current research is also focused on potential combination therapies to treat this disease. This work has resulted in > 35 original research papers and review articles being published.
