Assoc. Prof. Paul H Anderson is the head of Musculoskeletal Biology Research Laboratory at the School of Pharmacy and Molecular Sciences, University of South Australia. Paul obtained his PhD in 2003 from the University of Adelaide and has since been principally interested in the role of vitamin D in musculoskeletal biology as well as in cancer, pregnancy and immunology. Paul is currently a NHRMC CDF Fellow and his research on the role for local synthesis and activity of vitamin D within bone cells has important implications for the role for vitamin D in a variety of systems during health and in disease.
