Sarah A Marshall
Sarah completed her Bachelor of Science majoring in genetics at the University of Melbourne. She continued her studies at the university completing a Masters of Science in genetics researching melanin production in the pathogenic fungus Penicillium marneffei. In 2013, she joined the Zoology department under the supervision of Assoc. Prof Laura J. Parry and Dr. Jane E. Girling. As a Master of Philosophy student she completed her first study on uterine angiogenesis in early pregnancy in the relaxin-deficient mouse. Her research is now focused on changes in vascular reactivity of the mesenteric artery. Sarah plans to convert to PhD to continue her research on the effects of relaxin-deficiency on the vasculature during pregnancy.
