Jarmon G Lees
Jarmon graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Modern Languages (French). Over the course of his Master of Science degree at the University of Melbourne (2012 -13), he developed a keen interest in embryonic stem cells. Under the supervision of Prof. David Gardner and Dr. Alexandra Harvey, Jarmon studied the role of oxygen in human embryonic stem (hES) cell metabolism and pluripotency. In 2014, Jarmon started his PhD researching the roles of metabolism and oxygen during the maintenance of pluripotency and differentiation of hES cells.
